How do I disable the cold start injector? 200 1989

I suspect my coolant temp sesnor is not functioning and causing the cold start injector to spray gas all the time.

I would like to disconnect the injector without having gas spraying out.

Can I jumper the temp sensor wires or ground one of them?

Disconnecting the plug to the CSI did not seem to stop the fuel.
