Yes. If any consolation, I had this occur a few years ago on a 359K B23F 84 244 as a result of a dropped valve seat on #4 intake. I ground the stem and matched the shim to nurse that stout motor along to 375K still running strong in a body riddled with terminal cancer. Plug isn't wet because the vacuum is missing, if you don't mind that contradiction in terms. Compression tester showed 50#.
