Value of 5-Speed 245s ? 200

A gent just offered me a 90 M47 245 with 130K miles for $1500. I offered less and he's considering it. Any one of several friends will take it I expect.

It's rust-free (originally a GA car) except for surface rust under the tailgate. Needs tires and some trivial mechanical work: bushings, shocks, flame trap, carrier-bearing service, maybe timing belt ..... Interior is nice, or will be when I swap front seat bottoms. Has a new cd player.

It's about the average 240 I see around here.

I appreciate that Ohio is not in the center of the 240 universe but when someone mentions even a $3K 240 I feel that there's some rarefied air out there I'm not privy too.
