ignition switch 120-130 1966

Hopefully, the key broke leaving the switch in the "on" position. The switch must be in the "on" position to remove the tumbler assembly. The tumbler assembly must be removed to remove the switch from the dash.
It is a bit tricky. On the left hand side (facing the front of the switch) of the switch there is a spring loaded pin which may be pushed in to release the tumbler assembly. The pin is immediately behind the dashboard and must be accessed from behind with a paper clip or piece of wire. Once the pin is depressed, the tumbler and chrome bezel may be withdrawn from the from.
If the switch is still good, you can simply replace the tumbler assembly.
