92 940 Stalling at Highway speeds 900

It's been a long time since I have posted in the RWD forum as this 940 has been the best car I have ever purchased. I spend quite a bit more time in the FWD/AWD forum with the 95 850 that I bought.

92 940 NA with 130K...it got a dose of high water during a storm, full moon high tide. The engine compartment definitely took a dose of salt water. I replaced the mass airflow sensor, the spark plug wires, the plugs, cap, rotor, the air filter, changed the oil twice. Car runs and sounds great EXCEPT it stalls inadvertently at highway speeds....a few minutes later, it will start and run fine again.
Now this had happened once before 4 years ago and I replaced the CPS and that fixed the problem of inadvertent stalling. Is it possible the CPS got a dose of salt water and is again the culprit? It is certainly exhibiting the same symptoms. SHould I replace with FAE or Bougicord?

What are the other possibilities if not the CPS?

thanks!
