Extra connector on O2 sensor? 200

I recently purchased a Bosch oxygen sensor ('84 240) that has two connectors. One is a single wire that has a (for lack of better word) male spade type connector that slides into a single wire coming out of the wiring harness and has a rubber boot to cover the point of connection. (The sensor that I pulled from the car had just this kind of connector).

The second connector has two terminals and a clip-on type of connector. Is this the heater? My wiring harness has a connector for this, but right now it is not connected. Should it be?
