Engine transplant question 140-160 1973

Pretty sure that you would have to swap the entire FI system. Sensors, ICU and ECU, wiring harness, injectors, tbody, intake, etc. Also the fuel pump setup from the LH Jet car.

Might be easier to do it with carbs, but then I am not sure how you would deal with ignition and timing. The '86 has a hall sender in the distributor for this (crank position sensor starting in '88 or '89).

Or, you could just dump the Volvo FI altogether and go with something like MegaSquirt
