How much to ask for an engine removal? 700 1990

Pull the engine as a whole unit including transmission, it is easy to do on these Volvo's. once out flip it over remove the oil pan and remove or cut off the rod bolts, its normall the pistons the seize and not the crank, if the crank truly did seize cut it off near the rear main inside the engine and try sliding the tranny with the small piece of crank attached out of the engine, if that doesnt work cut a hole in the block to relieve the pressure and then it will come out. Yes lots of work but it is a solution to getting the TQ Conv off the engine intact. If it helps any i was sucessfull in pulling a transmission once and leaving the TQ attached to the engine.
