Water pump replacement, (forgot thread sealant) 900

I just finished replacing the water pump on a 940 and realized I did not use thread sealant on the three bolts, I did use it on the two studs I replaced. The FAQ says to use sealant on the bolts as some protrude into the water jacket. But at another part in the FAQ it says to use anti seize. So now I am wondering if I should pull it apart and use sealant? I replaced a pump on a my 760 ten years and at least 60000 mile ago and I don't believe I used sealant on the bolts and it is still going strong but this car is a friends and I want to be sure I do it correct for him. I have not added water and tested it yet. Any advise appreciated.
