Engine Belt is off - Can I drive? 900 1994

I have lost one of the belts on the engine of my 1994 940 sedan. When you are standing in front of the car, facing the windshield, It is the belt that runs on the center to drivers side, more or less horizontal. It goes from the big fly wheel (which has another belt on it) to a smaller wheel on drivers side. Other two belts are fine.

I have a mechanic about 15 miles away and I am wondering if I can drive it there. The car starts up and seems to run okay, I am not sure about the engine temperature for more extended driving and don't want to burn out engine. Any thoughts? Thanks.
