I have not done a window on the 7/9-series but after the third on my 240 in 4 years, I learned from convertible owners. Keep nothing of value in the car except in the trunk of third row seat compartment...and leave the rest of the car unlocked. Unless you live in a area that will lead to random people sleeping in your car you will come out ahead. No one is stealing old RWD Volvo;s for their parts in North America.
