M47 Manual Trans 240 Folks: Have you inspected and replaced the drive shaft coupler? 200

I'm wondering if those 240 folks with the M47 transmission have inspected the rubber coupler, sort of serving as a front drive shaft U-Joint, between the M47 manual transmission output flange and the front drive shaft section?

If so, how many miles? What manufacturer or vendor coupler did you use? (I hope the OEM manufacturer and not some Chinese junk.)

I replaced one a few years ago. Where the mechanical hardware secures through the metal sleeves in the coupler, were fractures or tears, if you will, in the synthetic material.

Thanks,

Kitty.
