the auto's are always 1 piece, the manuals have replaceable ring gears. used to sell them so often, i should remember the part number. the zf trans is 5003521. sold alot more of them-lol. the flex plate should be easy to find outside of the dealer. all 240 automatics-no 260s-are the same until 1989. good luck, chuck.
