Question about parts for 240 200 1989

Sorry, but I Genuinely doubt that Volvo, even though the actual cars are still made in Sweden-- being Chinese owned, Geely is the name of the company that owns Volvo, are still making parts for a vehicle line that went out of production in 1993.

There are "aftermarket" part brands to avoid. But Genuine these days can mean just put the part in a Blue Volvo parts Box and charge double or more.

others may chime in...this is an ongoing discussion here. There are may posts that have identified which are the manufactures behind some of those Volvo labeld part.

A recent example... the Flex Disc or Guibo - a part of the drive train on a manual 5 Speed equip'd 240....which is the Best Brand.
