Start problem 900 1995

1995 Volvo 940 T, have had problems with starting,
Mechanic replaced ignition, I took the car on a 120 mile trip but the next day, same thing. No Start, No noises, etc.

Replaced the battery and again, I drove it that day, probably 15 to 20 miles then the next day. No Start, exactly as before.

I have tried wiggling the gear shift, starting in neutral and checking the battery cables, to no avail.

What can it be? How do I fix this?
