brakes on again and off again. driver's side rear view mirror wiggling 200 1989

I took the newly purchased 200 for a short drive today. I went to my local garage guy to get the muffler assessed and I am now booked in for tomorrow to get the aft end replaced. Visited a friend's house and while there the brake went right to the floor!

we ran it back and forth a bit on his property and still no brakes. Went for lunch. Came back. Brakes now back to normal function. Drove homme slowly. Brakes fine.

No fluid loss. No sign of fluid on the ground. Fluid level good. What?

Planning to take the cqr to the gqrqge tomorrow if brake function is ok.

But why did the brakes lose function for that short period of time?

O
