Should I do it? 900 1995

OK, some of you know me from the 200 forum, and occasionally this one as I have a 940 also.

I've been offered a 1995 960, 106k miles, for $9000.

I drove it and checked it over--it's all good. Just had timing belt, idler pulley, and H20 pump replaced 1500 miles ago by my shop, who just did a nice johb rebuilding the front end from light damage. The owner of the shop has already put 2000 miles on it.

This all hinges on selling my car, but if I do sell it (potential buyer in the works) here are my considerations:

1. I'm on the road for work almost every day, so I need something comfortable with a good ride (not a 240 anymore). It has to be more or less reliable. It needs to last to around 200k or more. I'd prefer a safe car if possible (the 960 has that going for it).

2. I'm good with maintenance. Very good. ANd very knowledgable. BUT... is this going overboard? I don't need headaches. I do have access to most maintenance parts for wholesale price. And dealer parts at 20% off.

3. My other possible cars, also depending on the sale of mine, are Toyota Camrys. I've got my eyes on a 93 and a 96, both very nice.

So, let's hear it. Pluses and minuses, aside from the genrerally obvious timing belt importance and whatnot.
