Engine Stalling when Warm 200 1987

hello...i have a 1987 240DL and recently it has been stalling in stop-and-go traffic once the engine is warm. The engine starts perfectly when cold and idles normally, but once the engine is warm, from a dead stop, the motor will begin to shudder and stall. After the engine stalls it becomes increasingly difficult to start...and the car will continue stall at an increasing frequency until it is impossible to start. I have replaced the entire exhaust system (including the catalytic converter), cap, rotor, wires, air filter recently....in addition i have checked the fuses, fuel system relays and other assorted connections.....Are there any other possible solutions? thanks
