Est. repair cost for turbo & main seal? 700 1992

Hi,

I looked at a '92 740 Turbo wagon this weekend. The body is clean, it has 100k and a few small problems, but these are the 2 that concern me.

I'd like a ballpark estimate for a main seal replacement and a turbo rebuild/replacement.

I'm assuming that it's the main seal that's leaking because there's oil coming down the rear of the oilpan. I'm assuming there is a turbo problem as well because #1, I can't hear it operating, and #2, there is an oily buildup on the top of the turbo near what looks to be the EGR(?)

This is my first Volvo experience, so to say that I know nothing is an understatement. I'm assuming that I should be able to hear the turbo whistle even though the boost gauge is operating. The turbo whistle in my VW is unmistakable.
