front end loose 200 1984

The front end of my 84 245 feels loose. I can feel a jiggle when I back out of my driveway and go over a small pavement change. And there is a vibration thru the steering column around 55 mph.

Here's a history of parts:

1. new tires did not fix the problem

2. wheel bearings lubed and adjusted, no up and down play

3. tie rod ends 60,000 miles

4. ball joints 40,000 miles

5. new front bushings

The only thing I can figure is that the play is from the steering column (I hear a slight click at the top of the column when the wheel is turned back and forth) or that something in the rear end is causing the problem (new large rear bushings are in place).

Any advice would be great!

Thanks

Greg
