Has anyone seen this problem? 700 1992

My '92 740 wagon is having trouble with the electric motor(s) that control the door locks. The motors must be getting a large electrical surge through them, as the lock motors are fusing together. This surge must be by-passing the fuse block as I haven't blown the fuse for the door locks yet. My mechanic replaced the locks in both of the rear doors plus the rear hatch two weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed that both of the passenger side door locks are non-functioning and I suspect to find those locks fused together.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Please help me sort this one out.
