Nope, that's right.

The 'adjustment' to the pump is to change the jet- actually, the nozzle- that squirts fuel. One thing to check- does it just squirt on the primary side (the 32mm barrel)? On the DGV's, that's correct, but DGAS's and others squirt both sides, and putting a 'double- squirter' into a progressive carb can cause some strange symptoms...

If you have had drippy fuel problems, you might check the float level and the float valve, both of which can cause your problem. Also, a stuck (open) power valve will do this...
