you can get it at any serious fabric shop that provides vinyl, headlinr, etc. They can order it from their supplier, just ask them to order the amount you need. They shouldn't charge you extra, it'll just take time for it to arrive. Better to wait for the right stuff than use 1/4" and regret it later... I made that mistake, to my ongoing frustration.
