Modine radiator any good? 700 1990

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but the Modine radiator comes without a fastener to hold in the thermoswitch for the engine fan. With a plastic tanked radiator, the pressures are less, but with a metal tank, there is a chance (not a guarantee) that you might pop that little rubber grommet out.

Also, if you're installing in an automatic, the last Modine I looked at didn't have the threaded nipples for the trans cooler lines.

I favor the Nissens brand if you can get a hold of one. If you put in the Modine, there is apparently a pressure cap change recommended to keep the system pressure slightly down. If you can't get around to that right away, keep the pressure cap cracked slightly on the tank and it should be OK. I always keep my pressure cap somewhat loose anyway.
