91-240 front brake lines 200

Hi y-all
Being new to Volvo, but not to shade tree mechanic work, I thought changing the front rotors (old rotors warped) would be an easy afternoon. I got the job done, no leaks, brakes work. But, I would like to know if there is some technique or tool, other than bull stupid persistence, that will get those dual metal brake lines hooked up to the caliper without damaging anything. I may never have to do this job again, but if I do, I'd like not to burn an hour+ a side getting those '@%&**' brake lines hooked up again.

Thanks
