Generator or regulator or ? 120-130

I've done the alternator conversion in another car. Sure it works but there's something about it I don't like. Delco is so US and Bosch is so European that it bothers me to change things like that. I also have a Weber in the other car. It works fine but a B18 just isn't right without a couple of side draft carbs IMO. Of the two wagons in the picture, I prefer to drive the rusty, originalB18, SU, generator car than the rust free, bored to 2L, Weber, alternator one. I've got a spare generator and regulator just lying around so this will get fixed at no cost. A SWEM bracket and alternator would run $150 or so.
