timing question-no compression B234F 700 1990

I was not able to check if crank was turning while bolt was loose. When I realized that it was loose, I tightened right then. However, it didn't sound different when the camshaft was turning and prior when they weren't turning!

It sounded like a car turning over during compression test without plugs.

I will get back to work on it today, I really like the way the stereo sounds and it's got power mirrors ;)

Seriously, even if I do this job three times, with rebuilt head each time I will come out about $1200.00 ahead over what an qualified indendent shop quoted me.
