*Tach installation*

If we're talking about an 82+ 240 (which I'm assuming we are), you'll just need the red/grey (or red/white) wire that will already be in place behind the cluster. Simply connect this wire to any of the terminals (some tachs have one; some have two) at the BOTTOM of the tach, and you're in business. All 240s were pre-wired for tachs.

If you need assistance with getting the cluster out of the car to replace the clock with the tach, let us know. It's not too hard.
