How do you make a vacuum pump for working with A/C system?

Yorks are cheap. Chrysler are even better, but take a bit more hp to turn. I like the fact that they can be set upright and have plenty of lube in the crankcase.Any of the pumps will work.

A side benefit is you can use it for an air pump for tires etc also.


Shoot you could get a long hose and leave the york in your sons car and use the engine to turn the compressor hehe.
