1997 960 Air conditioner 900 1997

I have a 97 960 and it seems that the air conditioner works part/time especially over 90 derees. It seems to work just find at first then it begins to blow hot air. Sometimes it will restart and other times you better just roll the windows down! The system is full of freon 134....Any one know of fix to this situation?
