Best Tool??? for Removing Brake Line from Front Calipers 200 1991

My brake lines have been off within the last year by a mechanic to replace the rotors. I am now trying to replace the calipers but cannot seem to budge the brake lines. An 11mm open wrench is tight when I try to start but starts to strip (almost feels like the nut is brass). I am trying the normal anti clockwise to remove. Is a special tool required or am I missing something? Appreciate any tips as I know I will save $100 if I can do this myself. Thanks!
