Clutch or M47II Manual Transmission Problem 200

Need advise.
Have an 89 Volvo, 210K with M47II Manual Transmission. I seem to have either a clutch problem or a transmission that is starting to show its age. The problem seems to be between 2nd and 3rd gear, occasionally 1st. Problem one; the transmission will come out of 2nd gear on its own. Problem two; occurs when you try to shift from 2nd to 3rd; sometimes it will not shift unless you double clutch - Note: if it comes out of 2nd gear smoothly then it will not go into 3rd without double clutching, the same seems to hold true if down shifting from 3rd to 2nd. Any thoughts or ideas?? I changed out the clutch about a year ago (I used an after market NAPA clutch manufactured in England) Can use any help you can give me.
