Possible Purchase 700 1988

Brickboarders,

I'm looking at a "project" 1988 745T, which has a good body, brakes, steering, tires ok interior. The bad: exhaust leak at manifold; gasket or crack? Not sure if turbo is working properly-not as powerful as turbo should be-could be related to manifold leak? Also, rear main seal is leaking, a/c not working (no big deal). When I drove it, it was very sluggish, but started running better after about 20 min-still not as powerful as turbo should be. Has 100k-low miles.Looking at about $500. I can do most of the work myself except rear main. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
