look mom, no headlights! 200 1987

i finally fixed that pesky temperature compensating board last night, but with one problem fixed always comes a new one. i was driving here to grove city last night to visit my girlfriend. at a gas station on the way, i noticed that my headlights weren't on!! here's what i know:

the parking lights work in both parking light and low beam mode

i can flash my high beams (well, the indicator light works, but i don't know if the lights actually come on)

the rear fog lights don't work, and neither does the amb. temp gauge i have wired in to that fuse.

all other lights work.

i had the dash apart yesterday to fix the temp gauge, so i'll check to see that the HL switch is still attached later today or tomorrow.

any suggestions?
