Well, I quit contributing to the diesel posts. Mr. Ludwick is obviously the best in the country for diesel questions.

Jesus, I mean, where do you people live? East Freakin' Yahoo USA, where the prices are still stuck in the fifties?

You can't touch, and I mean TOUCH, a rebuilt diesel injector in an actual city like this, for less than $75.

And a new one is out of the question.

And those are Bosch prices, not VW or Volvo which seems to be the only thing that anyone here "knows" about. Even one of the country's biggest and most well-known VW shops here, doesn't X-ref Bosch injectors (since it would harm the price probably).

I guess it's turned into a mail order-and-wait society. Fine if you can stand waiting for everything I guess.
