help- I've been had! 960 porosity repair? 900 1992

I just bought a 92 960. The car is beautiful and the price was great. Maybe a little too great. I am seeing if the previous owner will take the car back seeing as she failed to mention the cars little coolant consumption problem. I posted recently stating that I thought this to the source of the problem and have now identified it as the leak. In the mean time, is there any way to repair the block porosity in the 960? Mine is leaking underneath the exhaust manifold by cyclinders 4,5 and 6. I have read that people have done it sucessfully with jb weld. Are there any other ways to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
