Testing ignition control unit 200 1986

The best way to test is with a "known good" spare module. If you can find one in a junk yard then you will have a spare. If you have a friend with a 85-86 Volvo 240, you can switch them out to see if yours is bad. I think that everyone who drives a 240 has one or two spare modules, I know that I do.
