VERY STRANGE PROBLEM '86 765T 700

Hey Guys.....I also am having this same problem with my 87 760T Wagon. Weird and intermittent. Very slow off the acceleration until it will finally "catch" and go. The Turbo needle goes half-way into the gauge and tach goes up, but no power. Very slow through intersections and up hills when this is happening. Have noticed lately though, that if I pull over and restart the engine, it runs much better. I just replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump/filter thingy in the tank and don't think it's fuel related. Just feels like something is holding back the power of the car when this happens. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Susan
