93 945 wagon taillight replacement

Check with your state vehicle code before considering all-clear lenses ... in CA, if the brake light has a clear lens, then it must have a "lens of proper color" inside. In other words, the red bulb will not suffice, and you will run the chance of getting ticketed for it.

I would go with the red/white/white/red combo, although if your current one is still in reasonable enough shape, consider repairing the cracks with clear two-part epoxy and spraying them with translucent red model paint (hence the red/white/red/red combo on mine's). Or since your wagon is black, a light dousing of spray tint to make them a slightly darker shade of red. Total outlay would be some time and $10 or less of materials.

-- Kane ... the worse that can happen is you screw up completely and have to buy new ones anyways.
