vac hose off. 900 1993

I am out of town (Georgetown/Wash DC) and I have found that the small vac hose from the TB to, presumably, the flame trap has come off the trap. What are the consequences, since I can't seem to get my hands in there (in tie and jacket etc), of driving back to NYC with this thing sucking air? hould I plug it? Stop by a gas station to have it fixed (can't be too much of a deal).
