AC Compressor Cycling 900 1995

I have a 95 960. When I have the climate controls set on auto, the AC compressor cycles on and off about every minute. It is about 70 deg outside and in the car, so the AC should not need to come on. If I turn it on full cold, the AC blows nice cool air, not cold, but cool enough. Is it just that the AC needs a little charging or could it be one of those many sensors in there. The heating part of the climate control functions properly.

Thanks in advance for any help.
