ZF transmission question 700

Hi BB. My "new" 744 seems to stay in gear a little too long when coming to a stop. I just adopted it in January and now I'm checking it out(no garage, snow+cold). When I come to a stop I have a shudder for about 1-2 seconds, after that it idles fine. I adjusted the idle(actually I removed the throttle body and the IAC, cleaned them, reassembled everything, adjusted everything) runs smoother and throttle response is better but it still seems to stay "engaged" too long. My idle is set at 750rpm and stays pretty steady. The tach on the dash(not that accurate) shows that it slows down when stopping. Anybody know about a ZF transmission?
