a/c Variable Orifice Valve 900

We are getting or a/c totally redone, on our 95 960 sedan, and plan to use a variable orifice valve to better manage temperature. However, we are having trouble finding out who makes a good vov. Texas Instruments used to, but they sold that business, and was unable to locate the new owner. What we are looking for is information on who manufactures a good vov. From there we plan to contact the manufacturer and find a local distributor. All ideas are appreciated.
