FI Questions 74 160 140-160 1974

The auxillary air regulator has two hoses running off of it.The hose that goes to the intake manifold has a "gizmo" with two wires coming off of it? It is near the big Idle Screw. Anybody know what this does? One of the contacts has broken off....where can I get a new one? Also: If you were standing in front of the car looking at the engine...there is a two wire connector behind the AAR,in the block...is this the "thermal time switch? Any input appreciated.
