will '90 740 PS rack fit '89 240?

The 240 rack is failing internally, rack itself is moving inside the housing so I suspect some bushings have failed/worn out. I have a 740 parts car out back and was wondering if the basic rack is the same and could I use it and just replace the tie rods. Or am I better off just buying a rebuild?
