D, thanks for the reply. I had the same cracking on my 85 240 hood. I sold that car after owning it for 14 years... Anyway, if I do end up trying to sand the car myself, is the wet sanding at 2 stage process? in other words, start with a certain grit and going over it a 2nd time with a finer grit? what do you recommend. I am not afraid of the work, just never done it before...
