Front spoiler on 82 Turbo question 200

Ok so this maybe a dumb question, I found a 82 245 in the yard and the front spoiler that has alot more angle on the lower section than on the later 244-245's. Is there any use or reason for this??? Was thinking about tossing it on my 87 244.
Looks pretty decent.
