ATF question... 200

i don't know what to tell you ben. i've never mixed type f and dexron. the two are similar and i believe differ mainly when it comes to friction characteristics. therefore i believe that if you were to mix the two it would be okay temporarily.

i'm not sure about on 200s but on a 740 to do a flush you would disconnect the return line coming from the radiator and fill it up while it's draining, or do 2 quarts at the time. this is covered in the faq so give it a gander.

btw, 700 series takes Type F in the power steering but Dexron will also work fine according to many people.
