are there any measurements one can take @ home to check and see??

i got a set of strut bars for my car and they dont' fit quite right ... they fit on the guys 88' but not my 91' ... i'm hoping that there might be a slight difference in teh bodys since the 83-84 are a little diff than the 85+

so yea ... car drives straight and doesn't pull @ all ... yet what can i check short of finding a shop and paying a butt load of $ to see if it's straight or not
