minor tune up today now a slight missing.HELP! 700 1992

Make sure you check the plug at the distributor also. It is a pesky little devil made out of plastic that seems to break if you stare at it too hard. Fortunately you can get another plastic housing for a couple bucks if the wires and plug contacts are OK. It is not hard (once the cap is off) to remove the whole distributor and get a good look at the plug - just make sure you mark the distributor position so you don't have to retime. By all means also check the wire to spark plug connections as they will often seem to be seated when they are not. The cap is a pain to remove get some small 1/4" drive sockets that fit to make the job easier. You don't need to hunker down to tighten these just get them fairly snug.
